I'm really becoming invested in this story. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites! This chapter was great. It was nice to see Buffy becoming friends with Spike and leaning on him. It's icky to think about the Spike/Faith thing though, but I will power through. I'm glad at least Xander treated her in a friendly manner. I hope that she becomes friends with Anya, because Anya is one of my favorite characters even if she's a pain, she's hilarious and she seems like she'd be a bit more open to Buffy. I'm also interested to see where the thread with Willow and Tara will go. I suspect some abuse is going on.

When I saw that episode when Buffy ran away, I couldn't really blame her. Her mother did kick her out of the house. At any age it would be hard to go back, and especially as a teenager who had to kill her boyfriend, most definitely. So I can't wait to see where this goes!

Author's Response: I hate the Spike/Faith, too, even though they do have great chemistry, but any overt Spaith-ness will be just like them- quick, to the point, and mostly painless. Thanks for the feedback! I'm happy you like it!
