i guess i was kinda expecting it but wow the imagery of Spike as he feels Buffy being pulled away from him? That was intense. Really great chapter tho. great job.

Unexpected to see the other give Spike blood. But very needed.
Didn't think Dru would come to Buffy's rescue. Well it was more like revenge on Angelus. She did what she could.
But oh my, that's very bad - Angel took Buffy's life. Not fair.
I fear she'll be a full vampire now, maybe a minion if she didn't get enough blood. Hope Angelus will end as dust soon for what he did.
*sigh*

Author's Response: Don't worry...Angelus will get his!!!

I hope this does not mean that Buffy is fully a vampire now. I liked that Buffy was still human with vampire traits. I don't know if I will like it if Buffy becomes a full vampire. I think that the uniqueness of this story is that Buffy accepted her vampire traits while still being human and a slayer. Also, Spike liked her the way she is. I will patiently wait to read what your muse perceives to be a happy ending. Thanks for the update.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review and stating your wishes. My muse loves all imput! Another update will be coming soon

You never disappoint me, I love all your stories, and I think you are a great author, whom I have read repeatedly, and whose stories I reread often.

Don´t misunderstand, please. It´s not my intention to have fluff out there only or to tell any author what he has to do or not. That´s not it at all.

I get nervous about a trend if I feel the balance between angst/darkness and other stuff is tipped so far to one side, that almost every update I get to read or 90 % of the stories currently being updated regularly take an extremely negative turn.
That is when I start to wonder if that is really all what spuffy reading is about, if it´s necessary.
I don´t think so.
I´ve been reading for a very long time now, more than 7 years, and there have been a vast amount of amazing stories that do have some angst, but don´t explore the bottom of the pit.
And that is what gets to me at the moment, I feel that out of 20 stories in maybe 4 months, at least 15 don´t only visit that bottom but turn every bit of waste there is down there, and while that is maybe close to the ugliness of reality, it doesn´t make for a satisfying read.
Anyway, I wouldn´t stop reading one of your stories, just because there is a chapter which I liked not as much as the rest.

Author's Response: Well I hope that I am able to redeem myself and my story! I don't always go dark, but I do like to push the envelope. Thank you so much for being an avid reader. I really appreciate that and your reviews!

It´s not only that this development pisses me off, as you said it so eloquently, it´s more importantly, that you´re the next in an increasing number of authors who seem to think that pissing off the spuffy reader as well as one can is the way to go.
Well, it´s not, and contrary to the momentary belief being en vogue, it also doesn´t make a story better or more thrilling.

Author's Response: My dearest Angel, I am not intentionally trying to anger my readers, but I am trying to stay true to my muse. This is how the story progressed in my mind, so be it. You have to remember, when there is light, there has to be dark. Good with the bad. One cannot exist without the other. I felt and continue to feel, that it would be a great disservice to my readers to write fluff, if the story is labeled angst. I'm sorry that you are angry and I appreciate your review, but I still hold firm to my beliefs and I am proud of this story, and myself as an author. I suggest that in the future if you don't want angst or drama, you should read a story that is labeled 'fluff'. I do hope that you continue with this story. As I said before there will be a happy ending. If you feel that you can't continue, then so be it, and I hope in the future authors don't disappoint you, as you claim that I have.
