Love all the Spuffy loving! Awesome chapter. It was great to see them finally say "I love you" and really become a mated pair and just not play around with being mates. Angelus is truly creeper, I'm afraid of what's going to happen next since he's deciphered Dru's ramblings.

im glad they are back together. but i still think that spike gave in way too easy for being a bad ass master vamp. i mean buffy didnt even really say she didnt despise him - seems like he is the only one making compromises in their relationship.

Author's Response: Remember, even though he is and still is in my story, a master vamp, he's always had a soft spot for the one he cares about. Almost to a fault. Buffy has made compromises, she's allowing him to continue feeding. Not telling him to bag it or drink animal blood.

Glad Spike finally told Buffy what was bothering him. Can't wait for more!

First of all I am loving this story and I was so excited to see a new update! But secondly, dang, Spike is being a Grade A #1 Ass. Buffy is a good person and a slayer and just had a natural reaction. He knows that this is the person who she is. It's not like she spat at him or punched him in the nose for past deeds. He deserves to get the cold should from her as well after pulling a silly stunt like that. But saying all this, it does make the story super interesting and now I have to wait for the next chapter. I hate wait!

Author's Response: Im glad that you like my story. Remember for him to understand her reaction he has to have empathy. NOT a vampire trait. In addition he's been a vampire far longer than a human. Also the time period he hails from, didn't really consider woman anything more than to birth children, clean, cook and be a dutyful wife. Nothing more. Empathy is innate to an extent, the rest has to be taught.

Looks like Spike and Buffy's thoughts/feelings are going in two seperate directions. Looking forward to more!

But trouble in paradise... makes it even easier for Angelus to interfere.
It's time that they take him down before he does something bad (like trying to stake Spike).

Author's Response: HeHeHe! Vampire sense of heightened smell! Joss never really explored the adult side of Giles' and Jenny's relationship. Since this is my world(well at least in this story) I felt that it should be touched upon.
