Great chapter! While I do love the Spuffy-ness, I hate the fact that Spike's starting their relationship with deceit. Buffy may be able to forgive and ignore all of Spike's less than savory deeds in the past, but I don't think Spike fucking Faith would be included in that list. I know this is AU, but Buffy's always had this abandonment issues stemming from the men in her life: her dad, Giles, Angel, Parker, Riley and Spike. I guess, what I'm getting at, is that once things come out in the open, I don't want Buffy to forgive him right away. It takes time to earn back trust, and without trust their passion really will burn and consume them both until there is nothing left.
On a brighter note, I'm glade Dawn has Buffy this time around so she won't feel completely neglected by Faith. Also, where is Tara and how is she coping with Willow's magick-badness?

This is such a wonderful story! I don't think I have ever been happier to be wrong!! So glad Faith wasn't there and to learn that they were only together that one time. I'm still worried about how Buffy will react if and when she does ever learn about it. Looking forward to the next update!!
