I like her, but she's not buffy. I keep having to imagine another blonde, buffy just doesn't work for me in these situations. I keep picturing Cordelia. Maybe a smarter version of harmony.
Author's Response: I disagree this not being Buffy. True, this is not the powerful, Slayer Buffy. This was more the awkward, girl Buffy. Buffy from the early years. The Buffy who fumbled trying to translate French, the Buffy who made lemonaide with no sugar, the Buffy whose pen blew up in class and she wiped the ink all over her notes. This Buffy. Plus, everyone has a bad day. A day when you wished you hadn't got up. When everything goes wrong. A total Murphy's Law Day. I don't feel I portrayed her in this fic as stupid or dumb, just having crummy luck. Regardless of our difference of how we see Buffy, thank you for taking the time reading and reviewing my story. Thank you.

Wowee! This was so hot and funny!! I can honestly say it's now one of my favorite fics: short, fluffy and super sexy :). Buffy and Spike hooking up as strangers is not easy to pull off but you did it amazingly well with their characterizations and actions here! I totally buy that they would hook up and wanna hang after :). Loved that this story unfolds through phone conversations between Buffy and a pal! I love this story's Buffy, she's so adorable and such a dork, I can really relate to the dork part! Love, love, love, Spike as the head honcho of Wolfram and Hart and Wesley as his second in command! Great and original characterization of Buffy and Angel as ex's: it's not a big epic thing, he sucked at the sex and they broke up but still work together, no biggie! That was so refreshing! Cordelia and them granny panties, LOL!
Oh, and I read your responses and I'm so glad you have enjoyed my reviews! I've had a blast reading your fic, so reviewing is the least I can do to pay that back I feel like :).
