This was a great chapter BBE. Things really got bad there for our couple. And you're right...you didn't have to go into great detail about Buffy and Angel..we all know what happened :( Poor Buffy,now we can understand her better. I'm glad she realized that Will needed support too, and is going to talk to him.

Looking forward to the next chappies, even tho it's gonna be hard. *girds loins*

I'm glad they're going to talk, I'm wondering if maybe Angel did something to Dawn? Liked the foreshadowing with Buffy knowing stalking law.

Will and Buffy.. sure have a tremultuous relationship at this point. Thoughts of love and lust turn quickly into "negative" feelings and words that seem to be moving into contempt and hate. Although Buffy at times thinks it is the voice of reason.
I don't think Buffy is ready to stop the divorce proceedings for some reason. But trying to comfort William/Spike might not be enough. I think he would rather be alone than receive pity from his wife.
Time will tell .. see how the story unfolds. Been quite a negative ride at this junction for them. You kind of have to push back and take a deep breath after involving yourself in their delimma.. a "bow" to your writing.. nothing bad.. in that statement. But it does draw tears and pause.. and the need for a cleansing breath.

Author's Response: Yes, Pam, I've put a lot of my own feelings, experiences, and thoughts into each chapter. I'm not saying I've experience each thing that has happened to our characters, but there are bits and pieces of my own life threaded throughout. This story has been catharic to me. Will and Buffy have been through a lot. But in saying this, not all of it has been negative. Hopefully, this will be what they are able to remember.

I figured her relationship with Angel wasn't rainbows and butterflies given the fact Buffy memorized California stalking laws. Looking forward to the next couple of chapters, and find out about the root of their troubles.

This was such a good chapter. I just love going into their past to when they were happy. :) And they sure were. I loved the mac'n cheese reminder. :) And Spike still had some in his cupboard. Aww..

It's one of my favorites aswell. Simply because it kinda started and ended perfectly - sorry I can't describe better what I think :( But I hope you know what I mean :) It had everything, sweetness, sadness, mystery and, well, everything in the right portion and at the right places. The end with a cgarette was perfect.
