We have options, and killer sundaes to look forward to. Things are looking up. May not be all the way there yet, but there are possibilities. Update soon

Author's Response: Hi Buffyrat ... killer sundaes always help! LOL! At least she has something ... will have to see how that works out... Thanks so much for reading and stopping in here. Love hearing from you! -P4S 2011.05.17

Well that's a twist..Doyle huh? I aleaysliked him, so sad when the actor playing him died. I hope he's trustworthy here..after all he is Angel's friend, not Buffy's. So the Broodypire(tm) is in the SunnyD crater huh? lol Too bad we can't leave him there. *Angel rage is still strong*

Poor Dawnie, she feels so guilty. :( Which is normal IMO and I'm surprised she didn't feel more so in the show.
So everytime Buffy falls asleep she gets sent to hell-limbo? That's horrible. She does need to sleep..maybe she can figure something out, and only go to butterfly land.:)

Question...Buffy knows about Doyle from her memories of other dimensions right? Cause she's never met him in her dimension. I don't remember if she met him in AtS when she appeared on that show...she probably did. Anyway hopefully he won't double cross her. the Oracles I can't stand...they never helped really.I just hated all that crap on AtS. *shrug* Oh well guess beggars can't be choosers, she needs all the help she can get.

More, more more this is so good. *hugs*

Author's Response: Hi AMI! I always liked Doyle, myself - It was tragic when the actor that played him died (Glenn Quinn). You'll be happy to know that Angel himself, has only a very small scene in this story (and no, Buffy doesn't beat him to a pulp or dust him in it ... sorry!). Buffy did meet Doyle the one time she went to LA - that was the show where Angel met the Oracles and had them 'take the day back' - the day he was made into a 'real boy' and spent it with Buffy. We'll just have to wait and see what Doyle, the Oracles and the PTB can/will do to help her- but first, Buffy has to find the amulet.

Yes, thus far, everytime Buffy's fallen asleep, she goes to the hell-limbo, she's gotten out to the buttefly garden a couple of times, but doesn't really have any control over it (so far).

I agree with you that Dawn should've felt guilty on the show - I think that any normal teenage girl in her situation would've felt horribly guilty about what happened.

Buffy's really not sure which way to go, so right now this is her best option - we'll just have to see how it turns out! Will have more soon!! Thanks sooooo much for reading and posting here - I always love your insightful reviews! {{hugs}} -P4S 2011.05.14

Hallie can't grant her own wish but Buffy won't know that. How does Doyle know about how things could have been? Mayby because he was a seer? This is really interesting. Dawn is feeling very guilty in this reallity she had to see more about how damaged Buffy was.

Author's Response: Hi Magnus! You're right, Hallie can't grant her own wish, but Buffy doesn't know that .. yet.

I'm working under the assumption that, since Doyle is 'dead' and a PTB messenger, he along with the Oracles or other PTB minions, would have been able to watch the change in realities on earth but be unaffected by the magic. I get into that later - Buffy's told that magic on the physical plane typically doesn't affect the PTB ... I'll make sure that assumption is clear, though.

I never understood how someone Dawn's age wouldn't have been more guilt-ridden in canon over the death of her sister. In this reality, Buffy's mental damage from dying and being brought back was much more apparent without Spike helping her cope, so Dawn could see it more clearly ... and react to it more like I think a person in her shoes would've.

Thanks so much for reading and stopping in here! Love hearing from you! Will have more soon ... -P4S 2011.05.14

Forgot to add that I love how you worked the picture of Father Weckerly in, Spike comes from a long line of hero's. BTW, I hope to all that is holy that William in marrying Cecily didn't procreate with her.....cause that would be wrong! wrong and more wrong! Don't make me try to morph together a pic of William and Cecily to see how their off-spring would look like cause honestly, that visual would be too frightening. Let's keep our fingers crossed and pray that William threw up all over Cecily when she wanted to get intimate with him and no body fluids were ever exchanged. Going off the wrong bend here, so I'm begging off blaming your evil muse for this twisted thinking!

Author's Response: Hi Vette! I LOVED that picture of William's father - I had to find a way to use it! I wanted his father to be an intellectual, but a hero, as well, so when I read up on how the British Empire worked back then (with offiicers basically buying their commissions), it was PERFECT!

LOL about William and Cecily procreating ! Actually, there will be children in the 1800's for William and Cecily ... but, as always with my evil muse, they will be used for the utmost angst and torture for Buffy and Spike - you don't have to do any new morphing! If that makes no sense, it's ok, it will later! I hate to give all of BB's angsty surprises away!

Thanks again for the wonderful manips/morphs you did - I TOTALLY LOVE THEM!! {{hugs}} -P4S 2011.05.14

Love the glimmer of hope peeking through this chapter. So, Spike is in purgatory and Buffy can go to a different more pleasant place but not by choice just by chance? Could she pull Spike to that place to hide from the trials via a re-newed claim? Cause, Spike has very little marbles left and Buffy is running out of anatomy to their situation. Where's the Buffy Bot when you need it, what I mean is like the movie "Substitutes" Buffy can get crazy Willow to spell her consciousness into a the Buffy Bot to let her body heal while she goes to set things back to they way they were. Just saying.... All the pain Buffy goes through with your evil muse seems kinda cruel - *Glares at your evil muse* Anyhow, Yay Dawn - go help Buffy bop for baubles at the bottom of the hell mouth crater.

Author's Response: Hi Vette!! Yes, thus far, Buffy can't get out of the red purgatory on her own ... this time Doyle got her out - but your wish for her to find a way to get Spike out of it and over to the Butterfly Garden just might happen {wink} -you'll have to wait and see!

Unfortunately, with no Spike, there is no BuffyBot ... since he's the one that commissioned her. Plus, no Willow - Willow's lost her marbles, too.

Yes, my evil, blue-eyed muse (I call him Blue Boy, or BB, for short) is really making us all pay for me having him write that long, happy Christmas story ... paying us back in spades, he is.

Yay for a Dawn that's been made mentally stronger and more mature (on top of being older) for the life she's had - the only good thing to come out of no Spike to coddle her. We'll see how much help she'll be in Sunnydale soon! Thanks so much for reading, even with the angst, and stopping in here! {{hugs}} -P4S 2011.05.14

I really like this series but this segment is difficult to read. I don't know how they will get out of this with their minds in tact. Especially Spike. I hope you have a really great happy ending in store. I also hope that Hallie is no more after this. Great job.

Author's Response: Hi Bridget! Yes, my muse is making up for me making him write that long, happy Crhistmas story ... he's paying me back in spades with the angst in this one! I think you're wishes will be granted, hang in there! Thanks so much for reading and stopping in! Love hearing from you! -P4S 2011.05.14
