Travers really relishes the pain and torment he inflicts to prove a point. The thugs he has as lackey's are more evil than any of the creatures they have locked up. Too bad that Spike and Buffy did not have a "Plan B" before they went out on their own, some magical bread crumbs would be of the good, can only hope that Billy can dream of their situation to let the others know what has happened. Poor Buffy, hobbling her with whacks to the knee caps is horrible, and her tooth! Hope that somehow she can get it replaced either via magic or through slayer healing - (is that even possible?) Shrugs. Travers wants Buffy to be well fed so maybe she can use that to her advantage and make herself sick by using some of her blood to make it appear that she is miscarrying her child, that would rattle the watcher and goons to take her out of her cell for medical treatment.....just a suggestion! Glares at your muse for torturing the women in this chapter.

Author's Response: Hi Vette! Yeah, Travers is really getting into this and you'll see more of why ... well, at least how he reasons it. Yeah, S & B don't always think things through and coming up with a Plan A is usually a strain on them ... a Plan B is almost unheard of! I don't think she can re-grow the tooth - probably if she was a vamp she could, but I'm thinking 'no' for her. I was right about them trying to create a "super-Slayer", damn I'm good :-)

They have been trying for a 100 years without sucess, they don't give up easy, do they? They should be careful they could have create the "Overfiend" (I like that term from Urotsukidoji).
It seems like Wes didn't tell them, good, but they are very well informed. I wonder how they got all that information? Taking a tooth from Buffy, horrible but a known way t get a DNA sample. Her friends will not belive her death of course. The timing will make them suspect something.

It can't be to many of the watchers that knows about this it's to dark and extreme. But those who knows stops at nothing. I got this horrible feeling that they will try to breed Spike with his daughter. I hope I'm wrong.
