No no no!! Don't let Buffy get more hurt than she is!! RL has absorbed me lately and I was thrilled to see so many new chapters, which I think is good because the suspence was extreme just reading through the chapters. My god your story is just incredible. The way you bring the characters to life and the way you get me laughing one minute (loved the "mile high club" joke with Giles, highlarious) and biting my nails the next. I loved the way Spike protected Bess by letting her have the Gem and the way Buffy let Bess know how much he values her. I wished Travers would suffer a worser fate than what he got, but it was still great that Spike got to do the honour. I sincerely hope the Scooby gang demolish what is left of the Council (at least the rotten onea) and take what is left to build a safety net for the slayers. And also that Spike and Buffy take what they need to live a nice life. They've earned it many times over.

Can't wait to see what you have in store for us. I just know you won't let our favorite couple loose their littl' bit;) ( I'm just thinking she will be the bride of Edmund Rosenberg McClay Giles...don't reall his exact surname ) keep up the incredible work you're doing.

Author's Response: Hi Catrine! No fair messing up my muse's evil cliff hangers by reading them all at once ... heehee! Glad the suspense wasn't lost reading them back to back! I thought of torturing Travers more, he deserved it, but although Spike would've been willing, I don't think he was physically capable and he wouldn't want to do it in front of Buffy, no matter how pissed she was at Travers, I don't think she would've handled that well.

Little Eddie and the newest bit ... ahhhh pre-arranged marriages aren't dead, after all! :-) Lucky all the 'cousins' in this story aren't actually related ... :O

Faith leading a small Slayer army to help, good. As always a wellwitten chapter. Good work on the trouble with getting information between people through a dream and a phone. The Anya part was funny and felt true to her character. It seems like someone will be wounded, just hope it will be Bess then, since she will survive. I also liked that the vampires got to die fighting.

I'm soooooo glad that the gore is over!
