Oh, sucks for them all. Gotta get back to love, people...

Quibbles: a "laid" that should be a "laying" and I think there might have been some punctuation issues.

Angst is definetly for me so bring it on. Dawn can act like such a child at times, and thats a compliment to your writing because thats exactly how she'd act. Spike and Buffy are adults and they are not related by blood-and if they were I'd still be okay with it, LOL, just cause it's fiction. Anything can happen in fiction.

Anyway, Dawn needs to realize they can make their own decisions. Buffy and Spike need to talk about it themselves though. They need to come to terms with everything, not worry what Dawn thinks.

Author's Response: Glad you like the angst, I know my favourite angsty stories tend to give me an ache in my chest and thats when I know they've really made me feel something. It doesn't really happen with any other genre, so maybe thats why I lean towards the angst. I'm thrilled with all your compliments about the story and characters, thank you so much for reading :) x

Buffy has a martyr complex. To bad she doesn't realize that love doesn't come along that often and when you find it you hold on to it. Her mother's death should have taught her that life doesn't last long. Not nearly long enough. So to throw away love? Especially to make others happy? It's the worst thing you can do.

Author's Response: I agree completely with everything you've said, even as I'm writing her I want to shake her! But I meet people all the time like the Buffy in my story, too many people let the good things slip through their fingers for one reason or another and come to regret it, even I am guilty of this in the past. Thank you for an insightful review :)
