Oh, the angst!

I don't think leaving is gonna help Spike or any of them. I can see why Buffy is feeling abandoned again. Maybe it will help. I 'm not sure. Things couldn't go on like they were though.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, its hard to know whats for the best anymore, which is why Spike is just trying to do what he can.

Buffy always has this ability to deflect the blame onto others. She is partly to blame for Spike leaving. She has pushed him and punished him for everything since Joyce died. Okay yeah it was bad how Dawn found out. But seriously? She'll get over it or she won't. Buffy had a lot of nerve saying that Spike was abandoning her. She left him, emotionally, physically and mentally a while ago. And thinking that he was letting her down when she needed him most?! How in the world is he supposed to know she needs him when she has made it clear by her actions and her words that she doesn't.

Author's Response: That's a great review thank you, glad you're picking up on all this stuff! Buffy has the blinkers on at the moment clearly! I think its still a bad thing that Spike is leaving, but she has pushed him to the edge and it would take a great person to put up with any more, however I think she's still justified to be a bit of a selfish mess at the moment. Its a horrible situation for both of them to be in!
