 And finally the Claim! YAY!!!

Still lovin' it, maybe 'cos you've written something unique & quite yet it kinda straddled the fence, at least at first on whether it would be an AH, AU, Fantasy, Supernatural/Paranormal, or just what kind of story; OR maybe it's just because regardless of type of story/BtVS story, you've written it well. 

And did I mention that claiming with sexy GROWLING Spike IS just sooo way hawt??? LOL!

WAS it the GEM reacting to Buffy, somehow, BTW, when the store imploded a' la phantom earthquake, or was that caused by Antonia "the badder witch wanter of the Gem", maybe seeking the the Gem in a big-time, no holds barred  locator spell that would make it impossible to mistake it's location due to the destruction?  (Antonia? Girl, have you been having a TRUE Blood mini-marathon at your place lately or something? )

I'd also wondered if Spike was gonna wear the Gem while he claimed Buffy, and how that might affect things, like making her stronger. But since he just pulled that lovely, yummy, impatient 'Cave Spike' on Buffy, leaving it downstairs with the boys, we can't know (is pouting...).

Hope you've got a little bit more o' this one tucked away to post still; it has grown on me.

Such an excellent chapter.  I loved everything about it especially the meeting between Grams and Spike.  I wonder what the 'earthquake' and the Gem had to do with each other?

 enjoyed... Buffy should have slapped the guy's face.. 

  Something bad is being planned for Buffy.. to get at Spike it would seem..

   It was the holidays.. and the time for all to enjoy.. no complaints for late posting..

There isn't a thing about this I don't love love. I get so excited for updates. I love how Buffy, Spike, and the guys' little family. I love the guys' increasing protectivness and love for Buffy. I love Buffy and Spike's relationship, and now the angst is external rather than internal between them.

It's perfect. So perfect, I'm reluctant to beg for quicker updates because it's worth it. And yet... ;)

Loved this chapter so much.  I love all those moments with Gram & Buffy and Buffy & the guys.  It was so sweet and cute.

So grandma figured it out huh? Smart grams. Buffy is even more of a target than before now.

I'm SO happy that you don't give up on this story even when your muse can't inspire you. Cause i am really addicted to thic fic, i think i've been rereading this for 10 times in the last month.

Another great chapter, Thought about another reviewer's comment about Buffy "becoming" the Slayer which would certainly work into the Flora plot and provide another conflict as she deals with her relationship with Spike and "Chosen" duties, but I wonder more about the story if she remains human..... Sorry, just my musing; guess I will find out...

As for the slayer plot idea, I believe I answered the question as to whether or not Buffy would be called, for the reviewer who liked said idea. As much as Slayer-Buffy kicks ass, in this fic she will remain human. I love to write human her because it helps highlight her character in different ways than just the supernaturally superior.

Two birds one stone. Spike keeps her safe and gets her in his life for a long time. He falls so quickly and deeply in love it's scary at times. I think Buffy needs to really think about this long and hard before agreeing though. She needs to be sure.
