So love the way that she let him be there for her this time around. What could have been... :) Glad you give it to us. Update soon!

Author's Response: Hey BR! I'm so glad you enjoyed the re-write! Oh yes ... what might've been, if she'd only opened her eyes. {sigh} Well, the plus is, we get to fix all those 'errors' here. Thanks so much for reading and stopping in! Love hearing from you.

This is how it should have happened in the series – loved! Loved! Loved this update!! I especially loved how it was Spike that was with her after the funeral and how the wanker just “lurked” amongst the trees before leaving! The only thing that could have made the scene any better would have been Spike beating and then staking the great poof!! Thanks for the great update, more soon please.

Author's Response: Hi Melly! So glad you enjoyed the re-write! I usually don't miss an opportunity to stake the poof, but thought that Buffy was probably not quite ready for THAT just now. LOL! That might've gone badly for Spike. Thanks sooo much for reading and stopping in! Love hearing from you!

Love that yet again Buffy stood up to Xander - and that it was Spike at the graveside with Buffy and she didn't dismiss him and cosy up with Angel instead. Love the idea of her love being like a disco ball! LOL
Now up to Ch 36 of CBML and getting worried about poor Bess...

Author's Response: Hey All4Spike! Oh yes, Spike there was sooo much better than dreary-ole Angel! I wonder if Xander's gotten the message yet? I guess we'll find out. Glad you liked the disco-ball analogy! :)

Oh yes, there is definate some worry to be had about Bess. I'm so glad readers have embraced her and feel her confusion, frustration, and pain. She's a survivor, but is really feeling lost in the new environment. Bring on the angst... :)
