Wonderful - I had look at this story and all the reviews several times but was always hesitant to read due to the warning of threesome - but I figured I can always just fast forward any sexual encounter if this is where it goes. Glad I finally made the choice to read it - all the reviews are so positive.
And Kudos for using Undun, LOL I just finished putting this great classic Oldie on my workout tape.

Okay, so I have to admit, I'm not much of an angst fan. However, I've stalked this story from the beginning and loved every crazy rollercoaster chapter. It just goes to prove a talented author can pull you in no matter what. Thank you for the story and the happy ending. :-)

Oooooo, you can't stop there. Not Buffy!!! I really hope Spike is all alone in the world. He is not buildt to be alone. I'm torn at this moment, I really want to read more, but I'm sad to see the story end. It's an absolutely fantastic brilliant story. I love it so much!

Chapter 1 review
Yippeee!!! I have internet service again! I’m not at all surprised they are calling the Council of Wankers to take care of Buffy. They often seemed (to me) to only want her there because she could be of some use to them and not because she was a friend. Loved the scene in the car with Buffy tossing the cassettes – only she could get away with throwing away his beloved Sex Pistols tapes! I’m really nervous about the warnings you’ve given but I’m planning on covering my eyes and reading through my fingers when it gets to be too bad!! Thanks for another wonderful fic! I hope to read chapter 2 tomorrow!!

Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention regarding this storyline. Hats off for one that begins with Dawn doing the sacrifice and before it was too late and second note regarding this particularly story that has me on pins and needles is bringing the Buffybot and making her a more important character or at least the "threesome" implies. I am very curious how this pans out though honestly I'm more of mind of two Spikes or B/B/G but hey I know I'll love it with you in the driver seat. Can't wait.

I did the two Spikes in the Unexpected story not long ago, and have been *trying* to get my muse to go back and do that again, but for whatever reason, he wanted to do the G/G/B thing with Buffybot. ( He said something about Spike deserving a treat for once). The Bot will have a pretty extensive role in this story, and will provide some much needed comic relief (at least I hope it will be comical!), but there will be more to her than that. We didn't really get to see her much in canon - just what ... 2 or 3 episodes? But I liked her and I think she really adds a nice balance here to Buffy's depression so we don't all want to jump off a bridge! She's fun to write in the way Anya is fun, so I hope everyone likes her. Thanks again! Will have more soon!

I just have to say another great beginning storyline of yours. It would be nice if the other dimension Dawn showed up to help this deminsion or not just a thought that entered my head. Side note besides the wonderful pictures throught out the story that I and many others enjoy and thank you for that I have to add the end songs you choose or awesome some of these songs I have never heard before and they are alway so fitting. You are doing an awesome job. Always look forward to your stories.
Author's Response: Hey, Blue Eyes! Glad you like the original premise of it. My muse got in his mind wondering what would happen if Dawn died instead of Buffy, but I could only find a couple of stories like that, so I let him figure it out. The only time I really liked Dawn was when she was hiding in the caves with Spike and lamenting her 'evilness' and feeling responsible for everyone getting hurt, so I built on that feeling to bring her to this decision. I'm glad you like the pictures - those can take a while to do and sometimes I think about dropping them, then someone tells me they like them and I dismiss that idea. Same with the songs - glad you like them! I can't always find the 'perfect' song, but am pleased with the number of times I can. I like all sorts of music, so I'm glad to be able to introduce some neat artists/songs to others this way. Thanks so much for reading and stopping in! So glad to hear from you !!

Hi Sweetie! I'm liking the begginning of this, you're right there's not many stories where Dawn sacrifices herself and what happens in the aftermath. This was heartbreaking and lovely and soooo sad. Hope I can hold on for all the angst. :)
Poor Spike and Buffy, and also Tara. I hate that they want to turn her over to the WC. UGH!!
Could they be more horrible to Spike? Why would they cut him off from Buffy after all he did to help them? Wankers!
The Buffybot 3some seems weird but I trust you to have it make sense (as long as it ends Spuffy I'm happy.) I'll admit the only warning that makes me nervous is the rape. *bites nails*

I hope, anyway, that the threesome will make sense when we get there. It's not just porn with no plot behind it. If I were gonna do that, there'd be two Spikes, instead! :P
Well, you know how the Scoobies were with Spike, even when he helped them all summer in canon they treated him like an outsider. I could see them, Xander esp., wanting to make sure he had no access to an incapacitated Slayer. Remember Xander's words to Spike after Buffy came back - 'I hope you're not going to start your little obsession now that she's around again.' Yeah, I think he would've talked Willow into dis-inviting Spike and making sure Spike's 'little obsession' didn't manifest further.
I felt bad for doing that to Tara, 'cos I love her, but my logical mind couldn't find a way around it. I've seen stories where Tara is cured just by Glory dying, but that never sat well with me logically, and I didn't see Willow being able to do her spell under those conditions, even if she had it ready.
The rape will not be graphic, I promise - not described at all really, just the very beginning and then the aftermath shown. I'll be sure to renew the warning when we get there so no one is surprised. It won't be for a while.

Great start. Dawn was quite prepared to jump when the dimensions opened so this sacrifice is just as believable - and Buffy did say she'd quit if Dawn died. I feel sorry for Tara though...
Author's Response: Hi All4Spike! My muse really wanted to see what happened to the characters if Dawn died. I couldn't find many stories like that. I found a couple, one where she jumped and one where Giles killed her, but didn't like either of those scenarios ... thus the Gregor-cide. The one time I really liked Dawn was when she was in the cave hiding with Spike and she felt badly for getting everyone hurt, and contended that she was evil, so I sort of funneled that mind-set for her. Glad it felt true to character. I felt bad for Tara too - I love Tara, but couldn't justify her getting her mind back just because Glory faded or whatever, and I didn't think Willow would be ready or able to perform her spell at that point, so I felt like I didn't have any choice but to leave her in that state. This story has been completely character driven - I have just sort of given it over to their voices and let them drive, so sometimes it goes quickly and other times it lingers, but hopefully it'll be an interesting ride. I've enjoyed writing it, just letting mostly Buffy and Spike take the wheel. Hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for reading and stopping in! Always love hearing from you!
