After I posted I noticed you were taking a vote on the threesome thing. Personally I think there should be another threesome and not necessarily just one. Not right now Buffy and Spike need to cement things between the two of them but the Bot has become an important part of the group and it wouldn't be fair for her to watch and not get any loving and they will need the Bot to help with money, safety and with the babies so she has to stay part of the group and her getting another guy just won't work. She misses connecting with Spike and enjoyed her connection with Buffy and Buffy wasn't to ick about it either. I don't think there is anything wrong with a commited threesome. Additionally Spike deserves some happiness and unless Buffy is going to live forever there is the aspect of when Spike loses Buffy in 50-60 years. He needs a forever Buffy.

Author's Response: Thanks for the input on that. Lots of valid points there! I do see them staying as a committed three-some and that is pretty much how I've written the later chapters, but I just didn't show another threesome (just alluded to them). I have a spot, and it is later in the story, not now when they are just reconnecting, where one would fit in, but I just wasn't sure how people were feeling about it. I think most people have really fallen in love with the Bot and accepted the idea that they're a relationship of three. I hadn't intended that when I started the story - but again ... it's been character driven - I had no outline at all. Just ... go with the flow - and that's how it flowed. Thanks so much for all the great points here! I appreciate all the thought you put into reviews! It means a lot to me.

So glad that they've come to themselves again she's realized (last chapter-missed that review :( ) that he was never going to leave her and the bits. And I have to personally say that Austin is an awesome place and I have friends there if they need a contact. :) Amazing what happens to them when they actually talk, with words and complete ideas. Amazing progress and it all feels very natural.

Now, as for the threesome... I think right now, they don't need it. Needs to be the two of them getting back to being them. I know that the Bot is feeling left out, but they need to be solid before they bring her back around. Would love to see the Bot dating, though. She deserves someone too. So, I trust your instincts on this one, but right now, they just aren't ready. In the future, only you know. :) Thanks for the chapter.

Author's Response: Hey, BR!!! I spent a summer in Austin during High School with a friend's sister and really loved it. When it came up on my search for 'best places for families' it was like kismet! Had to pick it! :)

Glad it all felt natural, I'm really just trying to let the characters lead me in this story, so I'm glad that approach is working! Yeah - amazing what can happen when they actually talk!

The threesome wouldn't be for a while - I should've said that. I have a few chapters written where I left the idea open, but didn't 'show' that part of their life, if you know what I mean? But I have a spot where it would fit in now and I just wasn't sure, but I think we do need one more now that I've read everyone's comments.

I’m speechless and beyond happy with another angst-free chapter!! Two in a row?! Is your evil muse feeling alright? Please give him a hug and kisses for me – if you think the reason for them won’t upset him and make him pout! I also loved Buffy’s two life rules! I can’t say that I want to see another threesome scene but I didn’t dislike the other one as I normally do in other stories. For some weird reason, I think having Spike with two Buffys, so to speak, isn’t as off-putting as having him with two different females. Thanks a million for all the happy Spuffyness!!! Bringing the Bot into this story was my way of letting my muse have the threesome he wanted but still not have Spike sleep with anyone but Buffy, so I get your reasoning on that, completely. Ok, so I'll put your vote down as ... ok with it either way.

Aw, that was so sweet and healing. Not sure about another threesome. Now that Buffy & Spike are properly 'together', it wouldn't feel right - unless in some way it was needed to help the bot adjust to the new dynamic?

Going forward I've left the option open for more threesomes but the pressing need my muse felt to do them was sated with the first, so he's kinda left me hanging in the wind here, not sure what to do. I have a spot in a future chapter where one could work, so, since I'm on the fence about it, thought I'd get input. I'll take your vote as leaning to the 'no' side.
