I loved Auntie Joan planning to teach the twins the proper assemblage of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and then before they’re three months old she actually begins teaching them quantum physics!! She’s almost as cute with them as their father. I’m very interested to see how Joan’s friendship with India is going to develop!! Thanks for another great chapter!

Author's Response: Hey!! Melly's back!!! yaya!!!! :) Glad you like Joan with the kids ... she is quite the funny one. :) I really love her with them, as you said, almost as much as Spike. We will find out soon how things will go with India ... could be quite fun! Thanks so much for reading and stopping in, Melly! I know the angst gets to you, but you're safe for a little while, I think from here ... a little while. .. :O {hugs}

Aww what a sweet chappie. I love Daddy!Spike and you write him perfectly. I like that you had time pass and we got to see little bits of their life. Oh Aunt Joan...physics, huh? Poor twins,lol

I feel bad for Buffy but she's gonna have to get used to the fact that Joan and Spike will not change and she will. That's gonna get depressing I would think. Sucks but there it is.

Loved Spike's speech...my fave. But I guess data wins out over romance for buffy in this case.

Oooh Joan likes India:) You don't go to all the trouble of lying if you just wanna be friends. :) Wish you'd go there but it's probably just wishful thinking on my part. :(

My fave was Spike with Joyce-Anne and he was remembering all the bad he'd done in the past to other children.:( I wonder if that will be something to angst over later.

Great chappie, now I'm waiting to see what BB has planned...someone will be coming for them I assume? Probably Angel just cause I think he's such a giant wanker. :) *hugs*

Author's Response: Hey AMI! Glad you enjoyed the chapter with the little glimpses into the babies development. Yeah, I don't know if that will always be an issue for her ... I guess we'll find out when my muse gets there, huh?

I strongly considered 'going there' with India and Joan, but have kinda just left it open for later, only because I didn't think I could deal with that much of a subplot just now.

Hmmm ... when the kids are older will they discover what he's done? And how will they react? Never know...

Angel may be involved at some point.... ;-) Thanks so much for reading and stopping in, AMI. You know I love hearing from you! {{hugs}} xo

The chapter was nice I like the passing of time bits. The chapter left me a bit perplex on one thing. India is your plan to make her just a friend for Joan or are you planning on making it a bit more serious. I hope for friendship only.

Author's Response: Hey Blue Eyes. My original plan for India was for her to be a friend only - to the family and to Joan in particular - but my muse has written it so that he has the option to go either way with it, to be honest. I'm actually leaning toward 'just friends', but truthfully, I'll just have to see how the plot plays out as I go forward here. My characters sometimes have a way of doing what they want without consulting me. :P I do think making it more than friends could be a plot complication that I don't want to deal with, to be honest, but, that has rarely stopped my muse from diving into the impossible. :) Thanks for the note! I'll keep it in mind, for sure. {hugs}

Author's Response: Hey dev!! The Bot's doing things on her own! And even making friends! haha! She's turning into a real girl. :)

Hmm at the risk of turning into Blue Eyes.. :D
Should've mentioned I'm liking auntie Joan and it's good to see she's making a friend of her own. As said before your turning the bot into a full character works out great :)

Author's Response: Haha! Glad you're liking Joan/Bot and yeah... a friend of her very own! She's really worked out much better than I would've ever guessed when I started this!! And her ability to lighten the angst has been superlative. Thanks!!

One tiny point that made me blink this time : ) It was a good point to insert Spike's speach, however his lighten-the-mood-answer: “Yeah, well, I don’t want t’ be this good-looking and (...)" wasn't really a good fit?
Not with Buffy being understandably insecure about loving and living with 2 beings that will never sag or grow old, one of which is a copy of her young tight self :S

Beyond that, many smiles this chapter. Liked the "I'm velcro?"-comment, loved the “As soon as he stops trying to eat the paper, we’ll have him tested.”
*Big grin*
Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Hi, Yes, I changed his speech to match the circumstances a bit better. It was 'good looking and athletic' in the original. I also left some other bits out that didn't really fit. I just love that speech too much to not use it in some form.

Glad you got some grins in the chapter. You might want to mark that down, cos ... not so many of those in the next few chapters. The angst will return.

Thanks so much for reading and stopping in! Love hearing from you, Asuras.

Love Buffy's velcro analogy. Joan is going to be a very... unusual auntie, isn't she?
Waiting for the other shoe to drop....

Author's Response: Haha, All4Spike ... ummm, yes, I do think that Joan will be a rather eccentric Auntie. Glad you liked the velcro!! :) Shoe dropping soon ... waiting nearly over. Thanks so much for reading and stopping in! Love hearing from you! xo
