The nightmare was bad enough but then Spike tells her not to bother coming back??!!! I know he’s upset but that may be the worst thing he has ever said to her. I’m not very happy with him right now which no doubt means your Evil Muse is very happy! Thanks for another gut wrenching chapter. Looking forward to the next one with tremendous fear and trepidation!

He gets so carried away sometimes, saying things that he doesn't really mean just to cover up how hurt he is. {{poor Spikey}} My muse was quite pleased with this chapter, yes ... he made me cry and cry! Oh NO!!! This was perfectly horrible and angsty. OMG! Poor Buffy...she feels she has to go cause it's the only way and Poor Spike...he's so hurt and scared that he just lashes out in the worst way. I understand where they're both coming from. I'm sure Spike didn't mean it, he just has to calm down a bit. I just wish they'd both go..I hate when they're apart. :(

UGH Caleb is so disgusting. I just hope for a bloody end for him. And why does he want Buffy to come back? Things have changed a lot from canon, cause the reason for the First was Buffy's resurrection. What's the reason now I wonder?

Yes, you're right, of course, Spike didn't mean it, but we know how he lashes out when he's hurt or scared. I hate it when they're apart too ... but what are they gonna do? We'll see.

Ok, putting out a theory here on The First showing up. Here is what the exact words were in canon from Giles: "The Beljoxa's Eye was quite clear about that in its enigmatic way. It's because she lives." Ok, well ... she still lives here too - not because they brought her back, but because Dawn sacrificed instead. So, perhaps, the whole muck-up started back when Buffy died the first time and a new Slayer was called, so there are two and THAT's the actual 'disruption' that the First was taking advantage of. Anyway, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it. haha!

I know I skipped Saturday's chapter until now. I knew it was going to be anxy and that there might even be a cliffhanger so I waited. Wasn't easy. So The First it makes sense. When you pick a villain for angst time you pick them well. Now to figure out what Spike will do when Buffy leaves because I can't see him staying and watching her go and I know Buffy will go as she puts it she has to. What will they do with the bits. Angel maybe? Nah. Can't see them bringing them in long too dangerous but is there anyplace that they would feel they were safe. This is hard. I have no idea where you will go with this. Good luck in writing them out of this corner.
