Oh God Poor Buffy, poor Joan. I'm so glad Spike sent Joan after Buffy or else she'd be deader than a doornail. Hopefully Caleb is truly, really dead. Love the grenade down the pants. LOL!!

Author's Response: Hey AMI!! Yes, I thought the grenade down his pants was most fitting! When I was trying to figure out how to kill him without the Scythe, Pagan and I discussed several options that we thought would do it ... that was, far and away, my favorite! ;-P

Sorry for the Spike-less chapters, but we'll get back to him very soon ... one more without him I think then he'll be back in the mix. We'll find out about the Scoobs next.

I am so happy that not only did she get the chance to say goodbye to Spike before she left that he was wise enough to send Joan although I would never had guess. Never even thought of Joan being sent with her which turned out to be very wise until you made me cry with her possible death. At least Caleb is gone and that was very fast I like it but it does make me wonder about the others where are Willow and Xander and the rest. It sounds like they're still around from the little bit we got from Caleb but where? I can't wait until next chapter to find out if Joan survives and I'm sure she will get to see the others then.
