I just so love Spike and Buffy. Things are getting so hot between them and I am happy that Spike is not too pushy. he knows that this is going to be a huge deal for them and he is giving her the space she needs. I know that Buffy is scared that she will never be loved back but she just has to give him a chance and he might suprise her. The sexual tension between them is just AWESOME and I am happy that Darla is finally coming around. (well as much as she can). They might all become a great little family. I don't see Willow getting on board with this not knowing Spike at all. it would seem to come out of no where but as Spilke stated as long as they do it together... just AWESOME work and worth the wait.

I'm glad you like Spike's attempt to give her space, while simultaneously he isn't staying too far back. He is only a man (er, vamp) after all, haha. As for Willow, she may or may not play a part in the story, however, she is still Willow. She might be very open minded, while also being wary. But Buffy might not even tell her in this story, because while they are close, their relationship is not the same as it was on the tv show. Lovely, this story makes me calm for some reason. I really dig it.
My last review kinda came of like I thought your story was too melodramatic. That isn't the case at all, I was just surprised at how much I liked the dramatics.

There was such a good calm feeling in this chapter. Buffy and Spike woke up, walked around thinking about the situation and each other. Then they meet in the kitchen and the situation get hotter until Darla arrives and it calms down again. For now things are good. If Faith arrives and is a Slayer, that could be trouble though.
I liked the banner, nice coloures.

i really love how you write. It gives me such a feeling of peace. When you write Buffy and Spike you show us their softer side. Maybe that is because Buffy is not the slayer and she is not bogged down with that since of duty and the need for normalcy. I have been waiting for an update and I really enjoyed this one.
Author's Response: I have a huge goofy smile on my face, thank you for taking the time to leave this super nice review! I do try to write them (Buffy especially) without the tension and expectations weighing their shoulders down that the whole slayer/vampire dynamic did in the show. I also try to write Buffy as I see she could be if she was simply human, with a lot less duty on her back. I'm very happy you enjoyed the update, thank you for reading!
