AWWW HOW SWEET OF GUNN!!!!1 i LOVE this story so much and am SOOOOOOO happy that u updated. i thought it was so cute that gunn saved faith and i really hope that they start to like each other. also i really hope that faith starts to get over her past and realizes that shes worth having friends and people who care about her. omg i really hope that buffy starts to deak with losing the baby and talks to spike about it, i think it would help and i think he he deserves ot know about it. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to see wat happens and read more. thanx

it was nice to hear from you again... and with this really good chapter! buffy's reaction is way real.... but here the main character is clearly faith! And she does have it: she was a real good friend for buffy, made the right choice calling dawn, established a tentative understanding with anya... and left speechless a drool worthy hunk of a man!

Buffy takes it very hard *sigh* ... well it isn't nothing. Faith staying with her was a good decision; calling Dawn even better. Oh Faith.. she is really complicated but she makes a good friend for you if she chooses you as her friend. Knight Gunn coming to the rescue? What a great surprise today! I was just thinking about this story the other day, wondering if you would pick it up again. Yaayyy!! I missed it.

I liked this chapter, as difficult as it was for the main players. I know you have some work cut out for you to get Buffy past this sad situation. In the meantime, I liked the insight into Faith's character. I always felt a little sorry for her, she's so much like a lost little girl.



Author's Response: Yeah, I do have some work cut out for me. Don't I know it lol. The chapter with Buffy finally dealing will be tough to write, but I hope I'll manage. Aw, I'm so happy that everybody seems to like Faith in this story! I was afraid people wouldn't be happy with her being the main focus in this chapter. I think the poor girl wouldn't have dealt so well with rejection ;) Glad you enjoyed.

I really like your character develpment of Faith. She is great as a tough girl with a heart of gold..

Little concerned about Buffy. Losing the baby was such a sad thing..I'm not sure how you plan on handeling this..but I for one hope that she talks to Spike about it. With this kind of overwhelming grief, the only thing that can truly help would be the support of her mate, Spike. The father. Though I bet Buffy will want to protect Spike from finding out, It's his lose too, he shouldn't be denied to right to know about his baby and grieve for it. *sigh* He may even resent it later...(unless you decide he doesn't of course! lol)

That's exactly the side of her I wanted to show. So I guess I did a good job. I'm happy now. And you won't have to wait too long to find out what will happen with Buffy and Spike. It will be addressed in the next two chapters.

Ah, Buffy...well, everybody deals with grief in their own way...still, there are much healthier ways than staring at the ceiling all day.

Author's Response: I'm so happy about the response I got about Faith being in the spotlight in this chapter. I was a little worried about it, thinking people would miss Buffy and Spike. But I just couldn't make the story move forward using Buffy or Spike since Buffy is in a depressing mood right now, and Spike is stuck in a bed. I thought Faith would be the best choice. And she's such an interesting character. I just love her. And don't worry, Buffy will deal soon... with some much needed help.
