Oh, this is too good! I can see why it was nominated so many times. I love how you wrote about Spike's intelligence and how he covered it up. I could imagine Spike and Giles having long, intelligent conversations like the ones you describe. Such a great story - I'm enjoying the character portrayals so much - you've really captured them. I was going to say especially Spike, but really, you've captured them all so well! I just can't say enough - great writing!!!
