Coming on the heels of the last chapter, this complemented it and was really beautiful. Wonderful use of the RLS poem in the context of the scene. Buffy has it right in being more concerned about Willow - although I fear she and Angel could make trouble together. Great cliffhanger!

Well that poem, particularly the wife part just about did me in. iI just love it when we see a little of the traditional William within Spike. I also love it when Giles does not mince words (unless berating a B/S relationship.) Keep up the great work.

Oh Nia how i love thee writing...let me count the ways....A Boundless Sea...gods that is just beautiful in itself not to mention the rest of it....Spike recieting poetry to Buffy...I could hear his voice in my head as he said each word and it made my heart tight and felt his emotion as he breathed each word...Buffy just wanting to listen to his voice and the verses...just gorgeous scene.....Bloody Bugger Angel...stake him would somebody....go Wes for hopefully buying more time....Cliffhanger HELL nia....Christ Giles just giving it straight on....WOW WOW...so much emotion in this chapter....tender sweet colidascope of emotions...

AAhhhhh....the ever present cliffhanger....wow, great chapter! You had me crying with Tara witnessing Spike and Buffy (whose scenes captured my heart), and you had me freaking out with the Angel/Wesley scene. Now I can't wait to find out what's next.

willow in troubla now so glad giles fond out about her taking buffy out of heaven.hope he make's her pay for hurting buffy cause the only one willow care's about now is herself and her evil magic.am geting this feeling that spike may be dawn father hmm.maybe off bass here but i just get this feeling that someone him and dawn are connected some how could be wrong so it's just a guess.love that bufy is falling for spike and dosen't know it yet but it will hit her soon enough.just love them togather.GREAT CHAPTER'S CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE

Congratulations on all the noms. They are richly deserved. So Giles has finally figured it out. Wondered when Mr. Brainiac was going to suss it all out. Loved the scene between Spike and Buffy in their bedroom. It was so romantic and heartfelt, and I got all weepy from Spike's words.

lol...that's my reactions to Giles' question at the end. I'm so glad he figured it out and is now going to speak with Buffy about it. Whether or not she believes so, it will be a good thing for her. The Angel stuff was awesome. I love how Wes held him off for awhile with half truth and then the minimalist conversation between Wes and Spike was so much fun too, even if it was about serious stuff. It captured both of them perfectly. And all the Buffy-Spike moments were, as usually, incredibly beauitful and moving.

A-ha! I knew old Rupes would figure it out, once he'd sussed out the purpose of the hellhounds! Good on him. Well, that solves part of that dilemma. Wonderful cliffhanger Nia. Just absolutely fabulous. Possibly the best cliffhanger I've read in a fanfiction story. Suspenseful, and yet not too angsty. I adored the moment between Buffy and Spike in her room, with Tara catching them. What a lovely, moving, healing moment to replace the sordid memories of Willow's voyeurism. Tara's view of their combined aura was just beautiful. And the following moment of Spike and Buffy in bed, with Spike reciting Robert Louis Stevenson, was simply stunning. You stole my breath away with Spike's emotional reaction to the words he was reciting. The way you wrote it made it seem as if Spike were reciting wedding vows to Buffy. I think that moment was possibly the most romantic, moving, tender moment I have ever read. Buffy is such a lucky, lucky girl. Should we be worried that Angel has his ear to the ground for news of Sunnydale? As if the gang in Sunnydale weren't facing enough threats. Goodness gracious. I did like that it gave Wesley a reason to call Sunnydale though. I have such a soft spot for those two Brits - Spike and Wesley. It's so sweet seeing them befriend one another. This chapter was absolute brilliance Nia. One shining moment after another. Goddess, just when I think I can't love this story anymore, you raise the bar. Oh, and isn't the title from act 2, scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet - before Juliet gives Romeo cause to send word of marriage? Are you hinting at something? Hmmm, me thinks I should be shopping for his & hers towel sets. Lovely chapter sweetie! I can't wait to see Buffy's reaction to Giles' pronouncement!

And the plot get even thicker. I love the beauty in the every day of Buffy and Spike. This chapter and the last have captured that "I love you so much I can't breath" that most people only know briefly and usually as teenagers. The breathing in his scent very every day beautiful.

spikes poem was beautiful. the dept of his love for buffy is boundless, and even tho she hasn't told him yet, she loves him jsut a s much. love the aura tara saw around them. what a beautiful sight to behold. can i say again jsut how much angel annoys me.......AAARRRGGGGG....ok, feel better now. ooohhhhh, way to go giles, just come right out with it and way to go Nia with another beautiful chapter and cliffhanger. yer killin me here

Uh oh! Giles knows - oh well, I still consider this better than how the show handled it. And gosh, such romantic scenes between Buffy and Spike, especially when they're just holding each other and Tara finds them that way. I'm just waiting for Buffy to say the words to Spike, b/c that's just bound to happen eventually. I just love this story to pieces, can't wait for more!
