Good chapter, but some other grammar errors, including a few instancesof the word "then" (meaning "after" or "following"or "next") that should be "than" (indicating a comparison).

I love that Spike is a little ruthless. Please don't let Buffy wimp out. That totally wrecks a fic for me when Buffy goes so out of character that she has NO backbone. Good fic so far. I can't wait to see where it's going. One good thing about wartime - Riley can just happen to get dead and slip out of the picture. But Buffy and Spike are still on different sides, however will that work?

Author's Response: I love a somewhat ruthless Spike! And, I know a lot of readers can't stand a weak, wimpy Buffy. I assure you, Buffy is a very head strong and formidable woman in this story. However, she is very, very young still. As for Riley? Well, let's just say he's not to be seen or heard from for a while. Luv, Spuf
