Soo... I´ve been sitting here for hours cause I can´t stop reading... Just a few remarks:
I so like that Spike´s still writing poetry! That´s awsome, I like your eye for the detail. Furthermore, the ides of Spike not just being a human but the same that Connor is is just great.
Secondly... the love scenes... You are very courageous writing this so openly, you have my respect (and I don´t know why, but the passing out of the two makes my heart sing...it´s so....trule love, I don´t know how to describe it).

Plus: Glad to see I was wrong with old Cordy... YEAH! ;)

Can I just say that I totally loved this story it would have to be one of my favourite post nfa fics. It's just a shame that you cant send it to Joss, coss I really would like to think that if he ever mad a movie about Spike and Buffy meeting again after the end of Angel that it would be just like you wrote it. I've read hundreds post nfa stories and I have to say as much as I may have loved some of the others, I think this one is the closest to cannon. All the points you made about Angels decisions were extremly valid... I allways wondered why he was never there to protect her when the oracles told him that if he wasnt a vamp he wouldnt be able to protect her, I meaan what was the point of him taking the day back and staying in LA when she lived in Sunnydale.. seems to me it really didnt matter that he stayed a vamp. And I liked the fact that Willow didnt go all gushy on him like in some of the other fic's it lent to the credibility of the story. Anyway I've rambled enough... Loved it to the power of ten as I do pretty much all your work. Keep up the writting cos it brings a little brightness to our lives. Thanks.

I love how Spike gets so uncomfortable about his human self, and how Buffy just already kinda knew. They have such a great dynamic together. And I can't wait to see what happens next! I've been away, so this is commentary on this chapter and the one before. I think you controlled the build-up, as it were, very well. I'm fascinated by the idea that it was Spike all along who was intended to Shanshu. It makes sense. And the coming together of Buffy and Spike was all the more moving because of the slow build-up of trust between them. Plus, very hot.

Excellent chapter. Glad to see the two of them in full admission and wanting to make everything work. Love hearing the two of them saying I love you to each other and truly meaning it. I hope nothing ruins the morning after when they wake up. I'm very happy right now, content like our satiated lovers, to read this chapter. Look forward to when you are inspired for the next update.

Great job! I think the pacing of the story has worked well leading up this emotional culmination, and I really liked the idea of Buffy finding and reading his bits of poetry. Looking forward to the rest of the story.
