I know I reviewed after the first time I'd read this one, but now, knowing everything so much better than before, I feel an urgent need to write another review. I just want to say how glad I am about your post-Chosen/Not Fade Away series. Having watched the last episode, I'm relieved that you found a satisfying end on the one hand, and, more importantly, an excellent new beginning on the other hand. I love this fic and the other ones so much -- even more since I've known how it all "finished" on Angel. Moreover, I eventually got a sense of understanding your attitude toward Angel. He was being a total moron in season five. Whoa.

i really liked this story - i'm a big fan of your work. can i also just say here that the people who kept emailing you and buggin you about this story are simply insane. i have read nothing but fanfic for 3 years now and not once have i ever written an author complaining about the stuff that seemed to happen to you. i can rarely bring myself to leave any sort of negative review - mostly i just won't review at all. because at least you authors are out there actually WRITING and i'm not, so i have no room to criticize. the most i would do would comment on grammar, misspelling and just plain wrong words. of course, i have never followed a WIP - i ALWAYS wait till they are done, as i have been hurt before by the WIPs. i admire that you stand firm - you are right - you are writing for your own pleasure and we are grateful that you are sharing your vision with us. i have never believed an author should pander to their readers. you go! i appreciate that you are not like some other authors who seem to more or less blackmail their readers for reviews in order to continue writing the story. i don't like that at all. so anyway - this story is just another wonderful one from you and i for one am grateful for your talent. you just keep doing what you are doing and you will find that your fans outweigh your critics.

This is really, really good! I don't think you've done Angel any injustice so far--I'm far from hating him, and I thought he was portrayed fairly. Please, continue this--I want to see what comes next :)
