Excellent ending to a fantastic fic. I love your stories.

Okay, this was the perfect lines ever! "You told me once you'd always be my girl." "I did. But I'm a woman now." Really, I couldn't get over how great that was. This story also made me see Angel in a new light. It is so true too that Cordelia is the only thing that holds him together. I really love the ending, sappiness and all.

One month later – they were lucky that all could be done till then. But having a vampire with you can be very convincing. :)
And *grins* to that: Wait until she has you scrubbing the bathroom. - Can't we make some of the lil' Slayers do that? - No, we can't. Can we? Buffy discovered that she’s the boss of the Slayers *smile*

Okay, thought just struck me...I realise what you are doing and everything, and I know Buffy thinks it is important for her to not abandon her new life in Rome, but I really really don't get how she can even be contemplating all this--making Spike do this for her--when she has no intention of giving up the Immortal. It is beyond strange and unfortunately back in that selfish Buffy realm where she always seems to dwell. My heart breaks for Spike. But then, it usually does!

Author's Response: Huh? I have to admit, I'm a little confused by your review. I never meant to give the impression that Buffy had no intention of giving up the Immortal. She's confused by having Spike suddenly back in her life, and it's turned her world on its head, but she's not clinging to her relationship with the Immortal. She's just suddenly having to look at everything in a different way than she did the day before, and it's taking her a bit of time to adjust. Keep reading the story, and I'm sure you'll see that your assumptions here are very much off. She's not thinking only about herself here. She's just not sure where Spike fits in her life--and even if he wants to anymore.

Author's Response: Also, if you read that chapter carefully, it's Spike that thinks about her going back to the Immortal. Buffy's more wrapped up in being with Spike, wants to be close to him even though she's afraid that theyr'e really over. Spike's fear is that Buffy will go back to the Immortal. Buffy on the other hand, is feeling conflicted.
