Great story so far. I'm really hoping we find out how Spike knows so much about babies. Love Buffy's reaction to the whole thing, and her and Willow's terror of children. Considering that they are both only childs without large extended families, they've probably never really been around a baby before.

I've been reading your story and I haven't posted a review for your other chapters because I usually wait until I am done reading the story. However, I really thought that this was a great chapter. Spike and Buffy's reaction seemed really typical and true to form. Good for you. I'm sorry that Tammy person gave you a hard time about how girls are supposed to act. I think Buffys reaction to the baby was a reaction Buffy would have. Although, I have to say (please don't be mad) that Willow would have been more accepting more quickly. That's my only problem but I still reallly like the story so far. Good job!

Squee!! I LOVE this!!! Giles having to depend on Spike to take care his daughter, and Buffy seeing a new side to him. This is great!! I can totally see Spike having to be the 'responsible' parent to two (ok, three) children who haven't a clue what to do. I'm loving parental Spike, and his 'revenge' for Buffy will be classic. I can't wait for more on their adventure. Great job!

ooooh great chapter Raven! What is a burko? I didn't see it included in your quick reference dictionary at the top, and seeing that I am from california , I feel I am severely handicapped here. I assumed it was some sort of an insult though, like "sod" or something, so please correct me if I am wrong. The baby throwing up on Buffy? LOVE IT! Makes me think of last week when my daughter threw up using my slightly gaping V Neck shirt as a target, and well, it was lovely. Truly. I bet Buffy would like puke down her cleavage too. Get some explosive diapers in there too. Oops, explosive nappies, you know, the blow out ones?

I gotta say the reviews are almost as much fun as this story. And this story is EXACTLY that... FUN. There is so much potential here for all sorts of funny antecdotes. Hey if you are in lack ridiculous things adults have done with chidlren, email me, my husband was a riot with our first born. He still is. I'm sure he's done one or two stupid things you could borrow for Buffy if you're in need. Not that you're not doing great on your own. And maybe there should be an entire space on this website for the English/American dictionary. Great idea... I personally think that most of it can be gotten by reading the "context clues" (didn't they teach us that in 3rd grade?), but it would have a lot of humor potential as well. Really great story. But here is a dare: Find a way to get Spike to use one of those "supplemental feeding systems". They're meant to help women breastfeed and from what I understand they attach alongside to a woman's nipple. The reason I even thought of it is that a dad on the series ER was using one and it was downright hysterical.
