Thanks for the new chapter. It was nice to see Xander acting like a normal person. I hope that Spike will be rescued soon and that Riley will get his comeuppance. I hope this is the end of Buffy spouting off about how Spike is an evil vampire.

I'm so sorry I was eating dinner while reading that chapter. Wow, I hate Riley just because, but in this tale, he's diabolical! Great Chapter by the way, held me spellbound from first to last word (now if I can just keep the bile down long enough to review). Great story with such an original twist and That Viking stuff?!? Is that real history or did you make that up yourself (and if you made it up, let's never meet in person, OK LOL). Author's Response: I'm so sorry Crystal, hopefully ur dinner didn't arrive for a repeat performance. The blood eagle is a 'myth' of viking lore and i actually researched ait before i wrote about it. I promise to rescue Spike soon
