I grew up with Buffy as teenager, and still haven't out grown this world. I love everything Spike and Buffy, with maybe more interest toward Spike.


What can I say he is a badass! The arrogance, swagger, vulnerablity, and sensitiviy of this character hooked me immediately. I believe the show missed many opportunities to show how strong of a fighter he was even though he was chipped. The fifth season of Angel brought back the Spike that I had missed.




Buffy is an amazing role model. A model of feminism in my book. She's strong but totally flawed. A character that I am proud to introduce to my daughter when the time comes.




I've always been an avid reader, and have dabbled in writing throughout my teens and college years. Writing fanfic has been great practice and I hope you like what I have created in the Buffyverse. God knows I've missed this show!

Comments: Loved this story!!! I felt very sad at the end since there wasn't a happy ending (super stoked that you mentioned an alternative ending), but respected it. You gave closure, and a finality to the relationship. Plus you did something I hadn't read so far in Buffy/Spike fanfic, you had them talk. Really talk. I finally got to see Spike finally let Buffy know how badly she had treated him, Buffy forgive Spike for the attempted rape, Spike talk about his mum, I could go on... Stories like this keep the fandom going :)  Thanks for sharing, and great writing!
