Summary: This is the sequel to Me and a Gun written by Stephanie. Stephanie and Tasha are writing this sequel together. This picks up at the end of the previous story. It would be helpful to read that story, but the summary is that right after OMWF, Buffy is caught in the cemetery, raped, shot, and left to die. Spike sees the perpetrator leaving the crypt, and then he smells Buffy's blood. He finds her inside, and the rest follows. (There is NO actual rape in this fic, but we are dealing with the aftermath that Buffy goes through because of it.)

normally, i love giles, but i really don't like him right now. buffy was right. why did they put all the 'blame' on spike? not that there's anything to blame on anyone, but they just attacked him and now there's this big ol' wedge between our favorite couple. not to mention the fact that buffy will probably never forgive giles or her mom. well, maybe her mom, but that'll be a long time coming. poor spike. i think they should have waited. he really should have talked it over with tara first. maybe she could have suggested a way to tell them without all the emotions getting in the way. we all need friends like doyle don't we? at least they both have someone there who will listen to them and not judge them. now, i'm kinda hoping xander is gay just so he can end up with doyle, though i'm not too sure about it if he's all like 'eww' when it comes to buffy and spike. okay, i'm rambling. waiting for more.
