I had to leave another review when I read what 'r' said. You're right- it's completely your decision what happens in this story, and I for one don't believe that they are apart at all. I really hate when people leave negative reviews- that's not what anyone wants to hear. If you don't like a story, don't write it.
Anyway, it was beautiful- and for them to be together, Buffy would have to have died, and that would sort of ruin the whole point- which is Spike's desire to see her go on living. I think it's perfect, so don't listen to what people say :]
Summary: Set during Season V, Buffy and Spike meet on neutral ground and reveal parts of themselves that others never see. Inspired by a poem that Spike might have read as a young man. Selected as a Judge's Choice in the 12th round of the Spuffy Awards.

I have to be honest, I haven't seen all of the episodes where they are together, but I am waiting to borrow a season from a friend. I have been way from my computer for about a week but I am writing more and should post another chapter within the week! :)
