i think buffy's not really fine... her life seems to get better, the relationship with dawn less strained, but... she is slighty falling to pieces. like when something big happen to you, and at first you're too shocked to feel the pain.

wow! i loved this first chap! buffy's rambling during her jump (and her death) are really believable. i liked listen to her while she realized the intensity of spike's feelings.

Author's Response: Not to mention one of her biggest nightmares... as evidence by Season 1's "Nightmares." Buffy's biggest fear, aside from her dad not loving her (which unfortunately has been a given since the minute he disappeared on the show) is becoming a vampire and having to crawl from her own grave. I think her panic attack was well worth it.
Summary: S7 angst. Spike is spending the holiday with the FE and Buffy is spending hers with her thoughts. Can souls can connect at this magical time of year?

wow! that was so... xmas-ty! i loved it...
it was really sad, but there was a hint of hope, and determination, barely concealed. the touches of humor (anya, clem) were cute and not overdone, they made u smile without breaking the spell of sweet sorrow and waiting for something better to come.
buffy's musing were great, and the last scene with spike was so touching. i like to see that the connection between them is so strong. I liked willow too...

the interview scene was great! i love buffy when she acts so bravely.... i almost didn't miss spike! lol
and i loved so much that you got tara modeling. i really like her character and i do think that doing something like that is totally believable.

Author's Response: Yes, he finally decided to play nice. He was so good to me after my hubby left and then BAM - went into hiding for a few days. Yeah, I just can't help but think this series has been pretty much on the fluff factor and given the long seperation they'll have, well, a little angst never hurts. you know, from the outside, you can look of the funny side of buffy's experiences (the first meeting with spike was hilarious), but i do believe that it could be quite different if you are at the receiving end of it!

Boot is definitely filled with some truly hilarious things and I had many laughs while there but honestly, being on the recieving end of the crap that comes with it - so not pretty.
