Author's Response: Oh, yes I do know "Camp", I'm just not clear on how you feel it applies to Spike in this fic. I don't see anything Spike has done or said so far as "extremely effeminate outrageous ", though William was certainly a "Nancy" I'll grant that.
Perhaps what I see in my head as the over-refined behaviour of a dandy (William when alive) coming through in the character of Spike (now with soul and quite addled by his arrival, all aswirl with memory) just isn't translating as such in the text for you.
