So I recently realized that I hadn't really read any of your stuff and decided to remedy that. This was lovely. I often have a hard time buying Buffy offering her blood up to Spike, but it worked for me here. I especially liked the suggestion that she had allowed it before and that was why he had stopped in that basement. Intriguing. If this is any indication, I'm going to enjoy making my way through your fics. :)

Oh Buffy, certainly you don't think (given the nightmare that is his own family) that Spike is going to think less of you because your Dad isn't so great. Relax and have a nice little dinner with your Mom. One parent is less pressure for Spike too!
Spike-parents are mostly concerned with how you treat their daughter. Show that Buffy is your priority and everything will be fine.
