I read your wonderful story from the beginning.. I just couldn't stop once I started.
The journey was great, more than a few tears were shed (ok, so I cried like a baby) it was just so sad.. and then they build the relationship towards the happy ending.. I loved it, loved it, loved it!!
And I wanted the baby to be a girl :)

I really like the supportive and understanding Spike.
Anyway I think it's great that she is working things out with her mom, since I think her dad is more to blame.. it was his secret and mistake. And really, what kind of a person just ignores her own child?no matter what the situation was.. i really don't like her dad.
