Summary: Buffy is the pirate captain who takes aboard the only survivors of a sunken English vessel: the stubborn and noble William Arlington, and his beautiful wife Cecily. William is a firm English soldier, and can feel nothing but disdain for his corrupt rescuer, until a fragile friendship begins to develop between them, and they realize they have more in common than one might think.
But tragedy strikes when an attack from an enemy ship interrupts their voyage to England. What will happen when William is forced to change, in order to seek the revenge he now desires?
