I passed this one over after reading the summary (in general, I'm not a huge fan of human AUs and I've read a few lawyer fics that I didn't like), but the writing and story sucked me in. I'm really enjoying it!
I also thought that Buffy's actions seemed to come out of nowhere - I think it would have made more sense if we had seen him doing something truly reprehensible in his role as a W&H lawyer, instead of just representing a morally repugnant client. Still, I think it's a teeny bit of an overall enjoyable story.
Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: I'm glad that I was able to suck you into the abyss that is the crazy ramblings of a mad woman!!! Like I said in the beginning notes...sometimes people break up with others for things that may not understand or agree with.

This is off to an intriguing start. Though I have to say that three feet is nothing to sneeze at for someone riding a horse for the second time! I think baby beginner is at 18 inches, and you usually do gymnastics first ... anyway, I digress.
I like that William's finding freeness in his illness. Though I'm not so sure that his interactions with Buffy will be entirely free of consequence. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: I agree with you completely in regards to the jumping. The highest I\'ve ever jumped is 2\'6 (my horses are older and can\'t be asked for more than that) and I\'m pretty proud of it. That line just demonstrates William\'s thought processes at this point. He thinks Buffy is a hallucination, and he\'s accustomed to seeing hunters jump much higher, so her feats don\'t seem impressive. Once he realizes she\'s a real woman and not a figment of his imagination, things will most likely change in that regard. But I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the story so far.
