I think Buffy got away with that a little too lightly. The way I see it, Spike can only wonder, although she denies it, whether she doesn't truly love Angel and not him.

Although I have liked most of your stories I find Buffy or Spike's versions of parenthood very badly written. I very much doubt Buffy would immediately think of abortion when she finds out she is pregnant by the man? she loves. In other fics where S and B have a baby they don't seem to look after him very well. It makes me very uneasy, sorry.
Author's Response: Hi :-) Sorry if you've found this story disappointing -- it was very hard to write initially, as it stretches out quite a bit. Re the characterization: I changed Spike and Buffy's personalities to fit my perspective of the plot. I am aware some haven't liked my writing in the past and I am sorry if this story is disappointing. Thanks for reading anyway :-)

I don't get it. The story line shows great promise but it is ruined by terrible characterization. Come on not even immature teenagers behave like that... Buffy in particular is shown to be very childish...

Liked it but don't you think William gave in rather too quickly? However if it had been part of a Spike/Buffy roleplay sexgame then it would really fit the bill. Glad to see a fic in which Buffy isn't the villain. Spike (bec. we all love him so) is often portrayed as doing no wrong. However here Spike behaved very badly, in fact ever since the beginning of this story I haven't found him all that wonderful. Once bitten twice shy I suppose, but I hope he soon turns away from being a wimp to having some stones.

It was a compliment. Yours is the first fic with S/other content that doesn't make me want to heave, lol. I agree with Lizzy's conclusion. Had Spike told Buffy he was alive they may have split up following Angel's shanshu... Still Spike caring for another woman to the same extent as Buffy is difff....icult . But I'm hanging there so keep the chapters coming and make it a very convincing Spuffy ending. No doubt on either's parts that they are meant for each other.
Summary: William Giles is a mild mannered real estate agent, who seems to be finding less and less time to spend with his eight year old son, the result of a failed marriage with the notorious Drusilla. At a suggestion from his friend, William looks into finding a nanny to help run things around the home…of course things get interesting when his newly hired nanny is turns out to be more than his match.
