The fic moves along really nicely. The characters are believable and well written. The only problem I'm finding is when you are going back to a previous time to explain a scene, there should be some notation indicating this (ie "two months ago", '3 weeks ago at school' etc). I hope that makes sense. Otherwise, this is a great story and I hope you can update soon.

Excellent!    This site was down pretty much all day today, and I just tried back to check on it.   Thank heavens the site is OK for now, I was seriously going nuts wondering whether I would ever be able to finish this story.    Thank you very much for sharing your writing talent with the rest of us.   I will continue to check for updates to this and for any other stories you may have posted.   Thank you so much!

Somehow managed to miss Chapter 25 so got to read 25 and 26 together. Woo-hoo. Damned awesome. I didn't mind at all that you stepped away from spike and Buffy for a bit. You've fleshed Alex out so well that she has become as beloved as the Buffyverse characters for me. Fantastic plot development, slice of life in the snobby English public school system and introduction of new characters. And I loved Alex's interaction with Spike - "You are my kid!" aww, got all misty eyed at that one. Thanks Petra, still loving this.
