That went a lot smoother than I expected. I liked Buffy's observation that being surrounded by stand up guys made her hopeful that Brian would be one, too. I'm glad the biological father is no longer a specter between them. Wonder what's up on Friday.

Wow. Completely awesome chapter. Excellent writing. You managed to capture one of those moments in a relationship when it's "do or die". Felt like I've been through the emotional ringer right along with them. Excellent writing. Wonder what's gonna happen on Friday? The imagination just wanders in all kinds of directions...but one in particular is my favorite. Can't wait to see what happens.

This was such a sweet chapter. I have to say that I love the way you write Buffy and Spike. It's very touching and again this story just reminds me of the relationship I have with my best friend. Well, except for all the mushy romance stuff...lol! He may be hot, but I can't even think about having that kind of relationship with my friend. I'm cringing just thinking about it, but you didn't hear that from me...lol! I swear he has spies everywhere. Anyway, love the story. I will be sad to see it go soon, but I know that you would probably have other amazing stories for us to read in the near future=)

This is the sweetest Spuffy story around. And the relationship lessons you threw in thoughout the story have me in tears. They are so lucky.
When you say you only have a couple more chapters to do, it makes me sad. I'm going to miss this.

Ooooooo. Yay. I absolutely loved this chapter. Not to sound all broken record-y, but when Buffy and Spike actually attempt to talk to each other and think about perspectives and everything, it fills me with joy, because it's nice to see someone writing with that touch of idealistic realism, that's exactly the way i want my fights to go with someone, well prefarably avoiding fights, but you know what i mean. I jsut like rational chracterization, alot. so super super job. take care
Author's Response: Thank you! I feel the same way and I think it goes with how Buffy and Spike have related to each other throughout the whole story. They've always been honest with each other and gotten everything out in the open as much as possible. I wanted to show them being the best friends they still are as well as them being lovers. I can think of one friend I have that we can actually disagree and not get heated, but really just talk. It's nice. :) Where's the chapter you've been talking about sending me??

YES!!!!!! Stupid bastard man-whore ass-kickage!!!!!! You ROCK!!!! Loved how Spike went all protective on Buffy, them fighting wasn't so great but you definitely made up for it. Once more with feeling--lol. So glad I finally got caught up on this fic. Keep updating please! I'm so glad you're not one of those authors who writes and awesome fic and stops halfway through =)
