Freakin' amazing -- evil cliffhanger and all. No one writes Lorne the way that you do. I love the depth of feeling between Buffy and Spike. And the KISS! If she backs off now, I will hit her with a shovel. (A vague disclaimer is no one's friend.) Can't wait for tomorrow's chapter!

The dialogue in this is wonderful - sharp and driving the story forward, without losing the characters' voices. I'm surprised this premise has so much life, but you're doing a great job keeping the characters actions fresh and entertaining. Smart mouthed Buffy back in the cradle of her family is much more vulnerable, and you're doing a great job with unsure, not-so-seductive Spike. This is a great read- can't wait for what Buffy has in mind to blow the wedding out of the water.

Boy howdy, someone's pissed!!! Gotta say, Lorne admiring Spike was freaking hilarious!!! I love Lorne, he was my fave character (behind Wes) on Angel, and you're characterization of his is great! Love the end, but Buffy's gotta stop being scared of falling for Spike...although she really does have good reason to be afraid of rejection...Spike was a womanizer...but he totally loves her...can't wait to read the next chappy!!!!
