I love your story very much. This was the chapter i was waiting for. At least we know spike has fellings. poor buffy. Keep updating and the good work , too.

WOW! that was so intense. Eventhough Buffy was (again) taken against her will, it's Spike's reaction to his own harshness that really set this chapter off. I can't wait for more. LOVE IT!

OMG! Your back and the writing kicks much ass!!! Finally we get to see the making of the monster in the man. I think its good you showed his dark side and his reasons for getting there and his beginnings of remorse when he's slowly realizing what he has become. Much like the pain inflicted on himself he's starting to recognize he's no longer the victim and he's become the predator. This story is dark but it's the best written fic I've come across in a long time. I can't wait to see where you take it to. I'm in till the end! Your writing talents have no limits! :Claps::

Wow... just wow... the last two and a half months of waiting ever so patiently for a new chapter definitely paid off! Excellent characterization and writing in the story. I like how you laid out the rape, always a horrible situation and very difficult to write in my opinion. It fits well within the story, and I'm glad you put it in. While I understand completely why it's been so long, I've just gotta say this: Oh, new chapters how I've missed you!!!:-P Update as soon as you possibly can!!!

What did Drusilla do to William? Seems it her fault he became "Spiike". Dark chapter indeed. Spike had flashed from Dru that made him blind.. Where do we go from here? I don't know. First step would be for Spike to excuse and tell Buffy everything. Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Hm, I think you missed something. Although there is more in the backstory, she tied him up and tortured him physically, then had sex with Angelus in front of his eyes. More to come though - thanks for reviewing!

Spike's motor is running on pure instinct at the moment - just not the right instinct. He reacts without thinking and brute force, one way or another, is always in the mix. Soon he is going to be running on empty and soon Buffy will hate him so much that she just won't care .... Great story, glad to have you back.

Oh goodness... Oh... *purses lips, furrows brow, sighs deeply* And, here lies the heartbreak. Not just the terrible assault on Buffy, but the terrible assault on and crushing of, William. And, now we see some of how Spike came to be. This is really passionate and powerful stuff. The flashbacks work really well and aren't so detailed that they take the reader away from present-day Spike. (I think you meant to have the beginning itallicised too, didn't you?) One small spelling error, I think: "un-phased " s/b un-fazed. Worth the wait, pet. Worth the wait. Welcome back!

Author's Response: Thanks, I changed the unfazed. And sometimes I have flashbacks surrounded with * instead of italics because I don't like reading entire scenes in italics. Yea, I'm weird.
