wonder why spike is so bi-polar...lol...i think it has to do with something faith said...i really liked this chapter cos it's the first glimpse we have that something bigger is happening, like the actual feelings towards eachother, spike acting like a total asshole and buffy really caring what spike thought..cos if she didn't she wouldn't have returned...he likes him..even in his worst moments...lol love the banters...really loved this chapter...thanx so much!!! you did a terrific job...can't wait for more...cos this was a cliffhanger from hell ;)

You're doing a great job making the characters sympathetic while keeping the tension between them. Spike's reaction to Buffy's home and Joyce's illness was inwardly warm, but Buffy's distrust keeps him from opening up. I liked Oz' calm "If you do anything to hurt her again, you know I'm going to step in, right?" It was very matter of fact Oz.

As much as I want Buffy to make Spike suffer more, well, I do love Spuffy! Anyway, I wanted to thank you both for having Buffy defend Willow to Spike. I just know he was going to insult the poor thing and to have Buffy tell him to knock it off was wonderful. Let's just hope that Spike realizes what a truly lucky person Buffy is to have a 'real' friend like Willow, instead of one his so called, phoney friends. Wonderful story, I look for it everyday!
