Your writing just cracks me up--in a good way. Buffy and Spike are both so stubborn and funny. And their parents! Oh my god that part in the last chapter about sending up Buffy's remains after Spike's mom is done with her. I feel like I know these people they're so real.

Great chapter, I've always really liked Willow and I think it's great that her and Buffy are becoming friends. I think the whole popular thing was extremely lame because one minute they're friends and then she is a little weird for a day and they kick her out (whatever that means)?
Author's Response: I explained the whole "kicking her out" thing a little more in the chap I just posted...and yeah it's lame but that's how every high school I've seen operates :( And I was going for funnily lame, because honestly, that kind of stuff makes me crack up =) thanks for reviewing!

I understand that you're trying to make a point, but does every one of Buffy's friends have to be complete idiots. I mean I feel my IQ drop everytime I read something they say. I do like how Buffy's realizing the shallowness though.
Author's Response: *wince* oops, I'm making people dumber...lol kidding, they'll start showing some brains later on--that's part of the plot. I felt like I kinda had to make them (comically?) shallow because Buffy's realization was a central part of the fic. thanks for reviewing =)

i absolutely love how everyone (except for Spike) accepted her. I feel bad that she pissed Spike off that much but they obviously have to work things out before getting all friendly. Another great job!
