so glad you decided to go further with this very dramatic story - at first read I had loved how you had chosen a chapter in Buffy's history not oft-used and therefore the characters of both Buffy and Spike at that time still raw, abrasive, not familiar with each other. Even now, after the violence and intimacy and violent intimacy, there is still that dangerous edge because their characters are still the unevolved ones of Season Two, and as such this second chapter is just as intense. Thanks.

Delicious! Angel is such a prat - how could he not tell that Buffy was alive. Calls himself a vampire? So glad that this chappie has come along - seem to have waited for eons and it's such a great yarn. Hope that graphic details of Angel becoming rather uncomfortable under Spike's ire will be forthcoming soon. Many thanks.

You are truly an amazing author. Anyone who can take what is essentially rape and turn it into such a stirring first chapter is an uncomparable talent in my book. I was moved by both of their thoughts as they were "making love" and even though it started out as torture and rape, you could tell that they both ended up making love and it was not only HOT but beautifully written. Sure hope it's not a dusty ending for Spike now that Buffy has her stake back. Can't wait for the next installment.

I can't believe you packed all that into one chapter. Drusilla's suicide, Spike's torture, Buffy's acceptance and Spike's change of heart and resignation. What a lovely (and hot!!) story. I hope you continue, can't wait to read more.
