Oh this is so good... a couple of questions that confused me though - Why would Giles be listed as her next of kin - wouldn;t her mom be listed? Of course if the Slayer expected to be in the hosiptal a lot she might have done that to prevent her mom from finding out, but still underage girl next of kin isn;t a relative? Makes me wonder. Smart group for figuring it might be Angel... loved the tom petty reference and xander not getting it at all. What a fab fab update. I completly adore this story ....luckily for me there is more!

Please don't do that - go away for weeks and weeks and then give us a chapter with an ending that - well, is like that! "Buffy kissed the darkness and died." Just don't want to wait weeks and weeks again after that - the story is intense and brutal and very Spuffy in an unflinching, very unfluffy way. However, it was well worth the wait.

Oh wow, that was fantastic!! So, Spike's gonna keep fighting his path to Buffy, and Angel is the one that needs to help him stay on it. Damn, this is just great!!! Can't wait for the next chapter!!!

I hope you're still well - I'm late reading. This one was dark and yet full of emotions (or the fight against it = Spike). But at last he remembered that he left Buffy bleeding. And Dru is haunting Angel.. wonder if it did help to get him to help Spike. Till next time!

It was so good it left me looking for words. So dark. See, usually me saying that wouldn't be a good thing because I'm not a fan of dark fics, but in this case, it's a good kind of dark. Fascinating to the point where you can't stop reading. I was disappointed to reach chapter 4 because that meant I'd have to wait for an update. I hope it doesn't take too long. Good job, great story.

I remember this one :) When Buffy started to walk through the room full of minions it was eerie. Buf I hoped Spike's sent would protect her. Buffy was very lucky.. it worked indeed. The Scoobies don't know yet what Angel did - waiting for him with news. Oh - Willow is on the right track. And I am interested to read more! Like - what did Spike do when Buffy 'fought' herself to go to the hospital.
