Seems as if Giles isn't too fond that Buffy wants to see Spike. After reading the back story, I know why... But now? I don't know what will happen next. It should be this way every time for me as a reader :) But Spike thinks Always you and me. was real. That gives me hope.

Your plot twist NEVER cease to amaze me. I totally was not expecting that. Although I have to say I'm about at the end of my rope for the angst. I LOVE this story, but the see saw of emotions is making me nauseous. You never go too far with this stuff, so I'm sure it will be wrapping itself up soon. I can't wait to see how you end it.

As much as I dislike this Spike, I'm glad to see that he understands that he is too selfish and immature to be in a real relationship with Buffy and doesn't push her to try and change her life to be with him. As much as it hurts Buffy, it's better this way until he can really be in a healthy relationship and put Buffy first. Spike at least knows who he is and doesn't lie about it. If Buffy ever does get with him, she'll know what she is getting into.

Glad to see Buffy being strong and telling Spike how it is. There really is nothing positive or redeeming in this Spike, except his looks. Unless Spike has a personality transplant, I can't see why Buffy would want to be with him. Glad to see her send him on his way. She deserves better.

I really like this story but right now I cannot help but think that Spike is a selfish bastard. Buffy is right this time, her life has been in peril because of him. She not only lost her baby but almost lost her life. I am not sure what he will do in the future but he needs to apologize to her big time. Otherwise I wouldn't want her to end up with such a jerk. I am fully on Buffy's side now, I know she will be strong.

Okay, I know I'm not supposed to be feeling this but I can't help but feel that Spike is such a BASTARD!!! This is a story where I definitely relate more to Buffy's side. He chose contacts and excitement over her?? How heartbreaking is that. To give up love for something so petty. It would be hard to forgive any man for that. It will be interesting to see what everyone else thinks. This chapter was definitely the best so far. Just when I was thinking they were going to be reunited, you pulled the rug right from under me. Totally didn't see that coming. I hope the next one will come quickly, because it will be so hard to wait!! Wonderful story.
