Aww, that was so simple and sweet. I totally loved it. One little thing about timeline, though. "Although, frankly, he hadn’t been around the lovable demon since that night at Willy’s with all the Potentials." ^ That took place in Potential, which came after Showtime. Just thought I'd point it out in case you maybe missed it. But it's still completely awesome :)

This was an excellent one shot fiction. I loved it. Touching, moving, emotional and very special. I wish this had happened in Season 7. It would have been so wonderful.

I added the story to my memories to read it later, but now I found it here - i'll read here :) Awe - love the begin. So Buffy helped to restore the crypt? It was partly her fault the it was in that condition... I loved it, your story, really did - beautiful :))

Well done. Excellent! That scene when Buffy comes for him remains one of my favorite in S7 and it was great to see a little vignette about it. Love the use of the sonnet in this and just how sweet Buffy was to Spike in this. :)

Great story! Very romantic. One small detail. I don't think Spike would have to worry about the chip at this point in the timeline, at least not with Buffy. They established in season six that it did not work on her. But great story. I'm going to go read your other stuff.

You're right about the chip in S6; however, after being 'brainwashed' by the First, tortured, subjected to who knows what by the Ubers - who knows exactly how the chip would act on Buffy in S7? Plus, remember, it's not too far off in the future eps that Spike's chip starts to misfire.
