Okay, that was pretty low of Xander, calling him incestual when he's clearly incredibly upset...asshole. Xander, not you, LOL =D You I love, because this story is shaping up to be incredibly. I like how Doyle was helping Buffy work out what to do with Spike, and it's good that Spike didn't just let Xander call him incestuous...can't wait to see what happens next, so I'm off ot read the next chapter!

Oh good - I'm glad the session with Tara did help Spike. Buffy has her own counselor ;-) If they (Buffy and Spike) don't forget that they are stronger together they will make it. Even even their parents don't like it

Tara is a wonderful therapist!! Okay, I had to get that out of my system first. On a more important note, Spike and Buffy are talking again and I am so very happy. I love this story. It just keeps getting better as each new chapter comes along. I can't wait to see what goes down when Spike and Buffy finally confront the parental units. Thank you for the wonderful update.

This is the grown up Spike and Buffy I know and love. I like how they are both admitting to being wrong in their words and actions last night and how they are both staying and talking about it instead of letting it go and fester into something they can't handle. These obsicles will only make them come together and be stronger as individuals and a couple. They are shaping up quite nicely. Wonderful job and keep up the good work.

God, such an angsty and sad two chapters! I feel so bad for Spike! I think what Buffy did was a little mean, but I like how you had her and Doyle talk about it, which made things brighter. No doubt though, I knew Spike was gonna get her back! Haha! Waiting for the next chapter, and awesome job so far!

he has to get her back....but first he needs to fix himself. She expects too much too soon, I think Doyle is right about it taking time, but I think he's wrong in telling her that her expections was right, when in fact they were a bit off.....she wobbled on him as well, giving him false security about she was okay with telling them.....so he gets up the energy and courage she first backs off and then he gets attacked and blamed by the parents....and then by her for running.... poor guy.....he needs stability.....is she ready to give it to him......by her staying away she too has deserted him in a way......I hope she goes and talks to Tara.... he needs her in his corner.......and I hope he continues to see Tara as well......I think Doyle is an adult living in a younger man's body.....very wise for on so young.

Author's Response: I think Buffy had some valid points ...I think it's a messy situation with lots of gray. No one is completely wrong, and no one is completely right. Part of Buffy's personality is to come out with fists flying when threatened. Once the dust settles, it'll be easier to gain balance again.

I honestly can not put into words how much I love Doyle right now. He is an absolute sweetheart and he always seems to know how a situation should be handled. The time apart does seem necessary although I do not particularly like it. Another great chapter. I look forward to the next one!

I loved determinate Buffy at the begin, on the run to find Spike - and she found it. "Spike Giles, get your ass out here now!" And Doyle was fun to. But the end? *sigh* I just hope Spike will get his courage back - as long it's still time.

I knew telling the parents would be a desaster, but I didn't think that Spike would behave like a coward. I do understand Buffy and hope that Spike will come to his senses soon.
