Great chapter...well written and liked the whole Lindsey, Spike and Buffy interaction.

Oh man... if Spike doesn't tell her soon, the truth is gonna come back and bite him in his ass (hmm.... yummy ass *LOL*) for example, fred coming back and go all, "Didn't he tell you, Buffy? He knew I was leaving"

Actually, I don't know what good it would do for Spike to tell her that he knew about Fred and Angel leaving hours before they did. It would have happened eventually anyway. Not Spike's fault. Also the fact that he brought Fred there knowing that she was Angel's "Winnie". If he hadn't then, eventually Fred would have contacted Angel anyways. Again, Angel leaving is not Spike's fault. And he did try and stop him. Since I'm postiive this Buffy has still not been competely honest with Spike about everything, I don't see a lot of harm in Spike not telling Buffy that he knew hours before Angel left. If it were me, I'd probably just mention that Fred had mentioned she knew Angel before and not elaborate. This Buffy is not exactly rational right now anyway. So, I'm kinda glad Spike's either waiting or not going to tell her .... and how sad is that? I'm promoting secrecy in a relationship

Oh heck...is that other shoe dropping? *THUNK!!!* Yep I guess so. I can't believe this but after such a mature and tender 'morning after' scene a couple of chappies back I'd completely forgotten about Spike's little secret and previously suggesting that little factoid was gonna come back to bite him in the ass! Still, if he does end up doing the 'big reveal' in the next chapter I've got to say it's better for him to tell Buffy the truth voluntarily than to be outed in a lie. No doubt it will be a task for Buffy to wrap her mind around it all...reconciling her newfound feelings for Spike with the anger and mistrust that would be created by discovering his role in her family's undoing. Here's hoping she'll have the presence of mind (even eventually...I mean she could be forgiven for going off the handle for a little bit couldn't she?) to weigh that against the happiness and stability she and Lindsey have found thus far with Spike. Well, we live in hope anyway.

Oh, I knew there was more angst to come, darn it. Buffy will not take this well -- too prideful, no? Or maybe she does believe in fate after all?

Please, let her beiieve in Spike, too.

Uh oh..Buffy is not gonna be happy..but I do think Spike is doing the right thing by coming clean..Hope they can survive when he finally does tell her..

Well, if Spike tells Buffy the truth, no doubt that she will be furious (and furious of what? To have brought Fred or to have lied to her?), but... I think that if she is honest with herself, she will forgive Spike, and see that with or without Fred, her marriage with Angel was a failure. Hey !, Angel saw Fred after years, and oups, "Sorry Buffy, I must go it's love", do you honestly see a better proof he is a poof? And truly, it's awfully clear Buffy and Spike love each other, and honestly, I may be naive (or stupid) but I don't think they could be happy together and have a real story if it begins between them with a lie. It's the way it was when Angel married Buffy, after all. Spike and her deserve better.

Well, that's not good. I'm worried about what her reaction will be to finding out the truth. I hope she would soon realize that it's better this way. God, Fred is such a bitch. I don't think I have ever hated her in a story before. Believing that soulmates crap. If he cheated once, then he'll cheat again. I'm really hoping Buffy won't be so upset, but of course she will because it's Buffy. Thanks for the fast updates=)
